Look at the Sun, albinizmli bireylerin görünmez ihtiyaçlarına ışık tutmak için başlattığımız uluslararası bir dayanışma hareketidir. İlk olarak 2022’de Endonezya’da hayata geçti, 2023’te Türkiye’de uygulandı ve 2024–2025 yıllarında Tanzanya’da devam ediyor. Look at the Sun is an international solidarity initiative launched to shed light on the unseen needs of persons with albinism. It first started in Indonesia in 2022, continued in Türkiye in 2023, and is currently being implemented in Tanzania (2024–2025).

Albinizmli bireyler, güneşin zararlı etkilerine karşı en savunmasız gruplardan biridir. Projemiz kapsamında koruyucu kıyafetler, güneş kremi, hijyen setleri ve eğitim materyalleri sağlıyoruz. Aynı zamanda toplumsal farkındalık çalışmalarıyla albinizmin sadece bir sağlık konusu değil, bir insan hakları meselesi olduğuna dikkat çekiyoruz.

“Güneşe bakmak” bizim için, farklılıkların gölgesinde değil, umut ve dayanışmanın ışığında bir araya gelmek demek. Look at the Sun, sadece bir yardım projesi değil; kapsayıcılığın, dayanışmanın ve ortak insanlık onurunun bir sembolüdür.

Look at the Sun is an international solidarity initiative launched to shed light on the unseen needs of persons with albinism. It first started in Indonesia in 2022, continued in Türkiye in 2023, and is currently being implemented in Tanzania (2024–2025).

Persons with albinism are among the most vulnerable to the harmful effects of the sun. Through this project, we provide protective clothing, sunscreen, hygiene kits, and educational materials. At the same time, we raise public awareness to highlight that albinism is not only a health condition but also a matter of human rights.

For us, “looking at the sun” means coming together not in the shadow of differences but in the light of hope and solidarity. Look at the Sun is not just a humanitarian project; it is a symbol of inclusion, solidarity, and shared human dignity.
